Warranty Policy
Terms and conditions of warranty for equipment purchased or repaired by A Biomedical Service Inc.
General Warranty Terms
These Terms and Conditions of Warranty are incorporated by reference into any Agreement between A Biomedical Service Inc. and the Buyer. A Biomedical Service conditions its warranty on Buyer's acceptance of these terms and rejects any conflicting warranty terms or conditions unless explicitly approved in writing by an authorized manager.
Warranty Coverage
A Biomedical Service Inc. warrants its equipment and repair services to be free of defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and with appropriate and timely maintenance. Warranty duration varies by product and service type and will be specified in your service agreement or invoice.
Plastics, consumables, and expendable items are warranted only at the time of purchase. For defects discovered within the warranty period, A Biomedical Service will repair or replace the defective item upon receipt of:
- A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number (contact us before shipping)
- A written description of the problem
- The equipment's serial number
- A copy of the original invoice
Out-of-Box Failures
Customers must report defects within three (3) business days of receipt to be covered under warranty terms. Failure to report within this window may limit warranty coverage.
Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
- Cosmetic damage (dents, scratches, broken plastic) that does not affect device functionality
- Damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect
- Damage caused by unauthorized modifications or repairs
- Damage resulting from operating equipment outside its permitted or intended use
- Damage caused by environmental extremes (excessive heat, humidity, moisture)
- Damage caused by power surges, lightning, or other external electrical causes
- Damage caused by acts of God or other external causes beyond our control
- Equipment with broken seals, missing serial numbers, or evidence of tampering
- Non-approved accessories or consumables that cause damage
Third-Party Repairs
Repairs performed by third parties without prior written authorization from A Biomedical Service Inc. may void the warranty. If your equipment has been serviced by an unauthorized provider, contact us before returning equipment for warranty evaluation.
Shipping Damage
Damaged equipment received at our facility is excluded from warranty coverage and will be charged for repair. Buyers should contact shipping companies directly for damage claims arising from transit.
Extended Warranty & Post-Warranty Service
After the original warranty expires, customers may obtain preventative maintenance from A Biomedical Service or any provider without further authorization from A Biomedical Service Inc. We encourage customers to inquire about our service contracts, which extend coverage and protect your equipment investment beyond the standard warranty period.
Limitation of Liability
A Biomedical Service Inc.'s liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective product or service at our sole discretion. We are not liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages arising from equipment failure, including but not limited to lost revenue, interrupted patient care, or regulatory non-compliance.
