The Baxter InfusOR is a battery-powered syringe infusion pump commonly used during anesthetic procedures. Its powerful Smart Label system allows anesthesiologists to easily and accurately dispense narcotics, vasoactive drugs, muscle relaxants, and other medication commonly used during anesthesia.

Smart Labels are specially coded drug-specific labels that magnetically attach to the front of the unit, showing appropriate rate selections and delivery units for a given drug. Switching from one label to another automatically sets the unit up for the correct delivery system for a particular medication.

The InfusOR syringe infusion pump can be operated in three different modes, giving you ultimate control:

  • Bolus and infusion delivery of medication: For agents that are given as a loading or supplemental bolus and a continuous infusion.
  • Infusion delivery without bolus: For medication that is solely a continuous infusion.
  • Infusion delivery that is not based on body weight: For drugs that are given as a continuous infusion but are not based on the patient’s body weight.

Features

  • Smart Label system attaches magnetically to front of unit
  • Each label is ASTM color-coded by drug class: Narcotics/Light Blue, Muscle Relaxants/Fluorescent Red, Vasopressors/Violet, Hypotensive Agents/Violet w/white stripes, Induction Agents/Yellow, Other Agents/White
  • Rotary input switches on front of unit
  • Three modes for delivery
  • Smooth push-syringe action delivers medication properly
  • Smart Label instruction sheets ensure proper drug concentration and syringe size for each medication used
  • LED indicator lights for Infusing, Bolusing, or Alarm status
  • Audio indicators call attention to a variety of pump conditions
  • LCD digital display shows important pump status information
  • Uses B-D or MonoJect 20CC or 60CC plastic disposable syringes

Refurbished Equipment vs. Certified Used

What's the difference between a piece of used medical equipment that's been refurbished compared to one that's certified used?

Refurbished equipment and certified used equipment are both thoroughly cleaned and sterilized. Their sensitive data is properly disposed of and we make sure the equipment works the way the original manufacturer intended it to perform.

Refurbished Medical Equipment

A machine that's Refurbished goes through a rigorous process that takes each piece of equipment back to the original OEM specifications. Our in-house biomedical engineers are certified, experienced, and the best in the business.

Every item that needs to be restored is torn down to its component blocks, fully tested, and visually inspected. Using OEM parts, highly-trained Biomed engineers identify and replace components that have failed or are likely to fail. Think of it as a tuneup for used medical equipment.

If there's any damage to the case, it will be repainted or replaced. After reassembly, every unit is tested to make sure it meets stringent manufacturer requirements.

Certified Used Medical Equipment

Certified Used machines are also cleaned and sterilized. Their sensitive data is secured and legally disposed of. Our talented BMETs perform a series of thorough preventative maintenance procedures and test the units to make sure they meet OEM standards for operation. In this case, not all replacement parts may be OEM, however, the units will still reliably perform to original manufacturer specifications.
